When Haaland was interviewed concerning his future, he said 3 major things will shape his next phase: a place where fans still watch the games in the stadiums to maximum capacity, a team where winning trophies was a habit and the opportunity to compete in the Uefa Champions League. You are just setting yourself up for heartbreak if you think Haaland will commit to any club that is not sure of qualifying for the Champions league let alone winning anything. Then if you think Haaland will receive €20M a year and play second fiddle to Mbappe who is reportedly going to receive €50M a year, you have a long thing coming. The reality is, Real Madrid cannot sign both Haaland and Mbappé in this coming window. Mbappé is their man for now. Forget his double-speak, he has all but committed 5 years of his life to Madrid. Haaland is currently stuck in limbo as only 3 teams can acquire him for now (based on his criteria) and one of them is in Germany playing with Lewandowski as their main man. The other 2 clubs are PSG and Manchester City. Real Madrid will only be able to get him in 2023 and sorry to say but Barca can neither acquire him now nor next season. Just put off your "fan mind" sometimes and be objective. It helps.

I don't know why most of our fans haven't seen this yet. I am not really bothered about his coming to Barca anyway. Hall and would be an excellent addition but then, if it doesn't happen, I won't be disappointed.

Personally, I want a team that can compete and become a team to beat in any competition. Building a team around one player has proven to be an Achilles heel for us, both portion wise and financially, and I for one wouldn't want the same to repeat itself again. But with a team competing for glory, we are sure to have trophies pouring in soon enough. Prioritizing our defense should be the ultimate plan now...

Not denying he was still very good for Barca especially in his first season. But only saying his hottest years were between 2006 - 2010 for Valencia and Spain.

I remember that he came to Barca with reputation of hottest striker in the world but even after first season there were some complaints about him not fully living up to expectation.

Villa's best season for Barca, he scored 23 goals in all competitions. Even an old Henry Thierry scored 27goals in a season for Barca before we even talk about Eto'o or Suarez impressive numbers.

In three seasons, Villa scored 48 goals in 119 games for Barca. That definitely wasnt good enough for a striker that came to Barca with reputation of being better than Ibrahimovic, Eto, Torres, Drogba bar Cristiano.

Compare to when Villa in Valencia scored 28 goals in a single La Liga season beating Eto'o to pichichi and was highest goal scorer at WC 2010. The general perception was that he did not live up to expectation in Barca.

Of course, everyone knows Tebas is a Real Madrid fan. You can easily see that from his skewed comments. He once claimed that Barca and Juve cannot sign anyone because they're so in debt and have nothing left, but in January the two clubs splashed the cash and shut alot of mouths.

Now, he's saying again Real will sign all available big talents. Let them sign. I just want Xavi to build a squad like Liverpool or ManCity. A squad not dependent on any one man. A well-oiled winning machine. A kind of squad Guardiola once built in Barca.
