Russia stand no chance against USA, these are my reasons:
Russia has no ability to move the vast numbers of men and equipment needed to satisfy condition one of that article, which revolves around the idea that the US military is spread out.
Russia has a barely functional navy and no real ability to project power beyond their borders.
The US doesn't need six months to prep for a war of that scale. They do need some time, but Russia can't prepare any faster.
Russia does not have the economy or population base to stand against NATO.
Total NATO GDP: 37.35 TRILLION Dollars. Russia + Belarus (probably Russia's only reliable ally in the event of actual war) total GDP= 1.93 Trillion Dollars. (LOL)
US+UK+France+Germany+Italy = 764.7 Billion of military spending. Russia=70 Billion of military spending.
