What a stupid comment. We still have the best defence in the league. This was by far our worst defensive display all season.
...That's cos u dominate possession most times..and ofcourse u didn't loose just cos of that...ur team will always struggle against a team than love to play on the break and with speed...that's y u struggle against city in years...another team i see u struggling with is united...they also love to play with pace and on the break ..the funniest thing is the way ur team plays the opponent will always get their chance . ...u guys won't won't win against united ..

Don't mind him... They've been lucky with VAR decisions the whole season so they have overrated themselves.... Let var and ref decisions go against them in one or two matches and let's see where they will end up.

Your analysis is wrong. We have already beat United on their ground like we have done almost every season since Pep was here. But everyone just focuses on any game we don't win, because we rarely lose. The reality is, Dias tried to keep Son offside for the first goal and he was slow to it. Now, City can look susceptible to counter attacks but that is only when we concede first. You can check the United games we ever lost and this game, the issue was us conceding first. Had City scored first we would have wallopped this team 4-0 at the very least. Then after we equalized, their 2nd goal came again against the run of play and it was not from a counter attack. Laporte switched off and did not see that Kane ran behind him. We then had to push everything forward to score an equalizer which made us susceptible again to counters but we got the equalizer and then defended very poorly for a routine cross into the box. Walker was ball watching instead of making sure Kane was uncomfortable in jumping. This is just a one off game. A reality check that we needed. We just need another win against Everton on Saturday and everyone will forget this game. Meanwhile, Liverpool will have to beat Arsenal, United, Spurs and us (at our ground). Good luck to them.

Your arguments make no sense. How can VAR benefit us yet Milner did not get a red card at Anfield? Jota got a flimsy penalty against Crystal Palace with all the momentum against your team? Why did VAR not tell Andre Mariner that Zaha was at the half way line when he gave Laporte a straight red in the 35th min against Crystal Palace? Stop talking plonkers.

This is pathetic - so much excuse for failure.

Everyone fails at one time or the other. What's all the painting??

Liverpool don't need possession or dominance to win games.. We make good use of our chances.

This game will always be remembered until City some how increases the gap again.

Liverpool will have to beat Arsenal, UTD, Spurs and City.
Arsenal, UTD and Spurs can't withstand Liverpool's force that is a know fact.
As for City, we have don it before and we will do it again.

This season belongs to Liverpool

Liverpool play Arsenal at the Emirates. The spurs and United games are home but both teams are fighting for top 4. Good luck marking those games as wins. Meanwhile, you play City at home and City will not lose another home game this season. City will win that game 2-0.

You people should not be typing rubbish to some of us. What is more shot on target? Do you know that when a shot hits the bar it is not regarded as a shot on target? Shots on target is the most ridiculous stat when analyzing a game except it is explained in context. Need I remind you that, Liverpool scored 2 goals from a counter attack against the run of play and a brilliant mazy run from Salah which was just pure individual effort. Meanwhile, Phil Foden and Grealish missed one on ones against Alisson. There were alot of last ditch blocks each time City overwhelmed the full backs and put in crosses. For large swaths of the game, Liverpool sat back and defended for dear life. Even that Rodri block came from a set piece after both Henderson and Milner deserved red cards with Milner fouling Cancelo which should have been his second yellow which then led to the Salah goal. When last did Liverpool beat Manchester City? You must be one of those people who read livescore reports. If you watched that game, City totally dominated Liverpool all game and especially the first half. City should have been leading 2-0 by the first half alone. Rest.
Liverpool na your mate? We are talking about a team with 6 UCL and you're talking nonsense. Be very careful undecided

I have a feeling Gerrard and Coutinho will do what they couldn't for Liverpool in 2014 eventually.
