The world will end by a consummation by fire, not by rapture.

1. Scripture said:
2 Peter 3:7: "But the heavens and the earth which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungoldly men."

(How exactly?):
2 Peter 3:10: "But the day of the Lord shall come as a thief, in which the heavens shall pass away with great violence AND THE ELEMENTS SHALL BE MELTED WITH HEAT AND THE EARTH AND THE WORKS WHICH ARE IN IT SHALL BE BURNT UP

2 Peter 3:11: "Seeing then that all these things are to be dissolved..."



2. The end of world is called the Great Conflagration and has been the constant doctrine of the Catholic Church and all her holy doctors: e.g. St. Thomas Summa Theologiae, QQ.74:

3. That is why Our Lord said "the Consummation of the world", not "the end of the world" in Mtt 28:20.
Mtt 28:20: "I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world."



4. At the Consummation of the world, all then living will die instantaneously. (Those having to suffer purgatory will suffer at that moment of Consummation a purgatory equal in time, measure and suffering, to that which they would have suffered at any other period of time, that being the doing of GOD, to whom all things are possible). Then shall the deeds of Judgment follow: the Great Trumpet, the rising of all flesh, just and unjust (Jn 5:25-29); the Gathering for the Great Judgment wherever Our Lord will be; the Coming of the Lord in the Company of the Blessed Virgin Mary and His Angels; The Passing of Judgment; the Election Also of the Flesh into Eternal Life and the Second Death for the Damned. Before the flesh cooperated in the doing of good or evil, God has ordained that both the body shall inherit and enjoy (or demerit and suffer) eternal life or damnation.

6. In case you are wondering, all souls currently dead are already in the possession of heaven or in hell (for the damned). They will be rejoined to their earthly bodies at the Last (General) Judgment (Mtt 25:31-46; Jn 5:25:29) for the eternal merit of their flesh also or eternal demerit of the flesh, [i] since both body and soul cooperated in the doing of good or of evil while alive.

You didn't read well.

There is eternal fire. Read pt.5 a little bit again. It's talking about purgatory for elect dying at the moment of the consummation of the world (but who still need to pass through purgatory due to their unexpiated faults before entering into heaven), not hell.

The only thing that can take a man to hell is unbelieve.

Moreover men and brethren the gospel is not about hell fire or destruction of the earth, the gospel is about the goodness of God manifested in the person of Christ Jesus!
His death, burial, and resurrection.
When you believe in his substitutionary sacrifice, you become a son of God( note in the kingdom both male and female are called sons of God)

Titus 3:3-7
[3]For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
