It is a known tactic. Once they are arrested, they form illness.

This one is different, he might actually be sick but as a result of a withdrawal effect. Like I said before, they should give him cocaine, he will be fine. They should not make the mistake of granting him bail on health grounds. A drug test should also be conducted on him. I no know why we go dey teach judiciary their work.

How come those caught haven't been dead? Anyway the law requires one to be physically and mentally fit for one to stand trial. So it's on this premise that they feign insanity or illness.

Alot to of people are actually sick but we ain't paying attention because we are too busy trying to live life. If your freedom and phone are taken within 5 hours, you go know say you sick. They are not necessarily lying about it but it's not enough justification for their release expecially if doing so will hamper the process of justice.
