Fierce Gun Duel Between Police And Armed Robbers In South Africa Leaves 10 Suspects Dead (Graphic Photos and videos)

Many people have been shocked by a fierce gun duel between the Police and gunmen suspected to be armed robbers in South Africa during a robbery incident in Rosettenville yesterday. Some were even wondering why South Africa has become a haven for crooks.

According to multiple sources, 18 criminals attempted to rob a cash truck yesterday, and the cops were quick to respond.

The armed robbers, after being surrounded refused to surrender to the police, instead they opened fire on the officers. They also fired at Police quick response Helicopters, injuring 2 pilots in the process.

However, due to the superior firepower of the Police, ten armed robbers were shot dead and eight were arrested alive during the confrontation that left some police officers injured.

No proper response team for cases like this..the citizens should trust their police at all time but Nigeria is a no no..you are always on your own...

Do not be deceived by this. You can not stand a bullet from a helicopter gunner. No! I assume they were able to ensure these crooks are out of collateral damage zone and they where blessed with the popping nozzle of an helo gunner.

Again, AK47 and it's variant still remains one of the very effective and efficient assault rifle in the world. You know why?

1. It works in ALL weather. (Cold, warm or windy weather. Let sand or mud fill it, just dust and briefly clean, it is ready to sing again. Most assault rifles will 'jam' with the slightest dust or alien particles)
2. Easy to maintain (spare parts is readily available)
3. It is cost effective when it comes to maintenance.

I dont know why Nigerians are always complaining about the AK. Maybe because it is too common or it is not aesthetically pleasing.

Nigerian police no go give evidence o, them no go even fit arrest the criminals self. Instead wetin we go hear na say "suspects escaped with various degree of bullet wounds".

I have never heard of Nigeria police coming to an active robbery scene and confronting criminals while on an operation.

Actually, 20 of them are Zimbabwean, 4 South Africans and 1 Motswana. One of the South Africans is a former Defence Force member.
