Theres something funny about this story. Armed hoodlums attacked a Police Station, the Police repelled them and started hot pursuit.

The escaping armed hoodlums then decided to run into two different hotels when they could have ran into the bush that is most likely to protect them?

Why would an armed fleeing hoodlum leave all the bushes on the road to run into a Hotel he knows could be easily surrounded? And how did the Police manage to arrest 17 armed hoodlums without exchange of fire in the Hotel?

Don't mind them. Police just used the opportunity to raid those hotels and steal cars and motorcycles

The gallant police operatives did not relent; they gave the hoodlums a hot chase and while escaping, some ran into the Golden Suite Hotel and Isu Villa Hotel, respectively. The two hotels were immediately cordoned off and raided and in the process, a total of 12 motorcycles without identification numbers and two vehicles, one Lexus RX 350 SUV and one Lexus RX 330 SUV, believed to have been used by the hoodlums, were seen and recovered. Also, 17 male and one female suspects were arrested and undergoing interrogation.

The police waited until after IPOB/ESN successfully finished their operations and left, then they went into the streets to start arresting any okada rider in sight and raided the nearest hotels to arrest innocent guests and their vehicles.

Those arrested would be asked to pay huge bail money and those without money or connection would be paraded and charged for the crime. That's the modus operandi of Nigerian police to violent crimes.
