Nairalanders are clueless and very clueless when it comes to world politics imagine saying that Obama was the worse president and thinking Trump was better lol even most of the American populace don't even think so. Obama is busy making money from books, public speeches and all what exactly is Trump doing post White House if not running from criminal and civil prosecutions. |

joyandfaith:Lol, Russia hacked American space under his presidency, he sided with Russia over his intelligence agencies you don't know what you are saying they did not fear him they saw his opposition to US allies as a good thing and wanted him to remain in power so that they weaken western democracy. Same US president that was hailing the North Korean leader when he saw him what does that tell you? |

sanpipita:That is false. It is hubris to think you are the only person who knows what is going on. A lot of people just don't want to regurgitate extreme leftwing indoctrination. Many people just want to think for themselves freely without falling under the woke yoke. Trump said clearly and unambiguously that Europe should bear a part of the cost of funding NATO, which is being heavily borne by America while European countries used their money for socialism. Trump told them in unambiguous terms that they should be more responsible for their own security. Most of the NATO countries were not contributing up to 2% of their national budget on securing themselves. Donald Trump simply told them what a normal responsible person would tell a leech, I.e. to be more responsible. And he didn't say it in secret, he told them openly in the public glare. Meanwhile, it is on record that Trump sanctioned the Nord Stream 2 gas project during his presidency. The project is a major Russian infrastructure to supply Europe/Germany with gas. It is on record that Biden immediately undid the sanction when he came. |

AmazonTopaz:How did he side with Russia over American intelligence agencies? Even the most audacious leftwing operative would find this assertion outlandish. Your postulation has no basis in fact and simple logic. Russia simply did not make any trouble with Ukraine until Trump left. The two successful invasions of Ukraine by Vladimir Putin have happened under some sissy leftwing leaders (one under Obama and the latest under Biden). So how could they have annexed the whole of Ukraine if he was there. Trump just didn't consider Russia as important in his foreign policy as much as China. Like any other sane human being would do to a nuclear armed country with a determined leader with an extreme will and bloated ego like Putin, Donald Trump felt if you pay less attention to Russia, your capacity to do battle with the more important China would be enhanced. China was the more wealthier and determined to upstage the USA, and has been doing so for decades. China was the one that he considered an existential threat. USSR was already decapitated. Putin's attempt to resuscitate it has more chance to fail than succeed. What purpose would it serve to be urging Ukraine to join NATO? China was the bigger threat to the US economy than Russia. They were the ones manipulating their currency and trying to weaken the dollar (arguably the single most important American influence on the world economy). They are directly or indirectly a threat to the American middle class jobs and so on. |

porka:Trump clearly wanted to withdraw from NATO he said it himself during his campaigns, it's never about funding but to weaken American allies, he withheld military aid to Ukraine, who does this all help? Biden used Nord stream 2 to cut a deal for Ukraine go and read about it |

porka:Stop saying balderdash and go and get informed imagine asking me how he sided with Russia over American intelligence when it is all over the news nobody is asking you about China. |
| Re: Who Of These United States Presidents Looks Scared Of President Putin Of Russia by porka: 10:34am On Feb 24, 2022 |
sanpipita:Can you read what you wrote? It's becoming clearer that your ability to read is overshadowed by your inability to understand what you read. Biden cut a deal with Nord Stream 2 for Ukraine? To do what? The project itself was Russia's attempt to bypass Ukraine in supply of gas to Europe directly in order to punish Ukraine economically. The gas pipeline does not pass through Ukraine. How would the deal have helped Ukraine? Does is make any sense to you? If you were the Ukrainian president, would that have sounded reasonable to you? So how has that deal assisted Ukraine now? Where has it left Ukraine? The same Biden has taken flight and left Ukraine in limbo, hiding under ineffective sanctions at the expense of thousands of innocent people's lives. Most of what you claim to be reading are mere leftist media indoctrination targeted at people who do not know their left from their right, like you. The whole allegation of withholding military fund to Ukraine was the handiwork of Nancy Pelosi led Congress' search for credibility for their highly partisan impeachment exercise. These are what American politicians do to smear each other. The Ukrainian president held a press conference to debunk the allegation then. Joe Biden himself was similarly accused, by the right-wing operatives of using his offices to stop a $1b transfer to Ukraine until that country removed an official of a company where his son, Hunter, had an interest during his time as vice president. You have at least passed the rudimentary test of reading, which is commendable, at least. But it is not enough to be gulping down just anything in the name of reading. You also need the ability to understand what you read and then the critical thinking skill to make sound judgment. That is the next for you. You can do it if you apply your mind to it. |
| Re: Who Of These United States Presidents Looks Scared Of President Putin Of Russia by porka: 11:07am On Feb 24, 2022 |
AmazonTopaz:What you are saying is that Trump committed Treason. And everything you rely on for that is because "it is all over the news". Why then was he impeached for something not remotely connected to that? Do you know what it means to side with foreign country against American intelligence? Listen, "all over the news" is not synonymous with credibility. Try and understand these things, my friend. Is there anyway one can talk about Donald Trump’s presidency without mentioning China, which undoubtedly, was the focal point of his foreign policy? Or is it because it is not part of the indoctrination agenda of the leftist news media, which you readily gulp down? Imagine what would have been the leftist media's reactions if it was Russia that was implicated in the coronavirus pandemic. |

porka:The way you guys accuse people of indoctrination is funny, did you bother to read deal Biden cut for Ukraine and who were involved, Nord stream 2 isn't all about Russia, Germany is involved a USA Ally, now please ask yourself as of today who halted the nord stream 2 project? Talking about about Hunter Biden will only take us to point to where Trump withheld military aid to Ukraine just to dig up dirt on Biden, I don't think you wanna go there |

sanpipita:Apparently you never understood what you read about Nord Stream 2 before coming here to say Biden cut the deal with Russia to help Ukraine. There are pipelines from Russia supplying gas to Europe that pass through Ukraine already. For this, Ukraine charges transit fee, which is a major revenue for its economy. The Nord Stream 2 entirely bypassed Ukraine, therefore making the country not entitled to any income. How then did Biden's deal with Russia help Ukraine? You have failed to say it. All you keep saying is "read about, read about". If you were the Ukrainian president would you have seen Biden as a friend or threat, considering that the deal would not help you economically? Of course, Germany is the beneficiary of the deal, ultimately. It would cost less to get gas delivered from Russia without paying the transit fee to Ukraine. If you had said that the deal was made for the Germans initially, you would not have sounded so hollow as you sounded. Go where with the alleged military aid withheld? That's like a high school guy debating his colleague. Haven't you already said that earlier? Where again do you want to go with Trump’s alleged withdrawal of military aid to Ukraine? Or do you just wish to type something? |

AmazonTopaz:Does it mean everything you read from the Guardian is credible? Is that your definition of credibility? That's classic naivete, my friend. Plus how did they report it? Was it a news item or an opinion? Do you understand that there are various sections of a newspaper? Do you also understand that the media have agenda? The Guardian also reported that Sadam Hussain had weapons of mass destruction then, how did it pan out? That is the reason you should develop some other skills like critical thinking after you have learned how to read and write. Otherwise you become vulnerable, and they will continue to mess with your mind. |

porka:Lol was Russia building Nord stream 2 for themselves? did I need to mention Germany before you know these things. I'm tired at this point have a read, Biden cut a deal to let Nord stream 2 go on involving Germany. https://www.wsj.com/articles/u-s-german-deal-on-russian-natural-gas-pipeline-expected-soon-11626813466 |

| Re: Who Of These United States Presidents Looks Scared Of President Putin Of Russia by porka: 11:19am On Feb 25, 2022 |
sanpipita:You are sounding very pathetic at this point. Your idea that Trump was weak against Putin and would have created an easy path for the total annexation of Ukraine was quickly debunked by pointing out Trump actual strong arm tactics of imposition of sanctions against Nord Stream 2, which Biden lifted when he came to office. So if Trump was weak, would he have sanctioned an $11b project at the heart of the Russian gas infrastructure? Your point was that the Nord Stream 2 deal by Biden with Russia was for the sake of Ukraine, which was roundly debunked. I pointed to you that the deal couldn't have been in favor of Ukraine because the real motive of Russia was to weaken Ukraine economically. Apparently you didn't have any clue about the project and the strategic implications for countries. For your information, that is the day job of some people. But you don't even have the grace to admit your error. Having exposed your lack of understanding, you are now trying to use elementary school tactics to deflect the subject in order to wrigle your way out. Admission of mistakes is very hard for we humans to do, but it's actually a strength not a weakness for strong minds. Next time, be measured in your contributions in a public forum to avoid being taken to the cleaners. You should know that all the things you have ever read and would ever read are written by humans who could be part of your audience. My earlier advice to you subsist; now that you know how to read and write, the next thing is to acquire strategic thinking skills. You have to learn the art of "reading between the lines". |

AmazonTopaz:What are you saying? What is your question? "That Trump did not believe his intelligence agencies picked Russia over NATO allies" ... doesn't sound coherent. It appears you are under some intense anxiety. It has to be anxiety because you have been boasting of your ability to read and write all along. Calm down and put your thoughts together. |
| Re: Who Of These United States Presidents Looks Scared Of President Putin Of Russia by sanpipita(m): 12:34pm On Feb 25, 2022 |
porka:What a fool, Trump's sanctions didn't stop nord stream 2 from going on and nearing completion, Biden smartly inserting Ukraine with a deal with Germany has hurt nord stream 2 more than any sanctions, the German chancellor even went to America to uphold this commitment, didn't you read part the deal involved assisting Ukraine with energy projects? so much for a days job, most of you keep saying Biden lifted sanctions on nord stream 2 without realizing the back story to it, e say na debunk |
