On point. I feel africa need to get it right in the leadership sector. If not , we won't make real progress.

So what is the benefit for Africa here?

Much like how the US strove to build up Korea to checkmate the communist excesses of China and North Korea and maintain their influence in the region-

As Russia and China put their eyes towards Africa;
Western nations for the first time will have the concern of ensuring that African countries are strong, developed entities, to make sure that they can withstand China-russian manipulations and ensure that US has good relations with Africa.

If Africa leaders are not ready., what will west do?
