A Nigerian clergyman, Debo Adeleye, has warned intending couples against getting married just for sexual pleasure.

While preaching in his church recently, Adeleye said those who get married only for the sex, would get tired and then realize their mistake.

Marriage is way beyond Big boobs, sex, beauty and all that.

Marriage is beautiful but you should be Ready to Endure, sacrifice, love, Submit as couples.

Marriage shouldn't be hinged on things that deteriorate or fade away with time, like outward appearance or material things, otherwise the marriage is likely to follow suit when they fail.

There should be that thing beyond your five senses that still attracts or connects you to the person, so even when everything else begins to fail and fall apart, like in old age, as long as that person is still alive, there would still be that thing which binds you together "til death do you part".

That's when sickness, riches, beauty etc., cannot be a factor in your marriage and a reason to separate.

It's similar with God. If what connects you with God are the temporal things and vanities of this world, then your marriage to Him is bound to crash at some point.

So find something eternal that connects you with God, like His Word, so that even when every else fails, your marriage would still be intact and standing strong, because it's not hinged on the things of this world which can fail or pass away, but those of God which are eternal and can never pass away.

Jesus Christ said your marriages are of this world and not of the Kingdom of God - Luke 20 vs 34 - 36 - so why would anyone who ìs a follower of Jesus Christ preach or give advice on marriage in His name?

The spiritual inplication of sex goes beyond just attraction. The subject here is attraction two people can be attracted to each other without real connection just like a man paying to sleep with a prostitute or having a one night fling.

I singularly don't believe that two people can lust for each other till their marriage crashes. Even the best loving couples still find themselves at the cross road of divorce and they wonder how did we get here....
