Both Guardiola and Klopp try to play possessive football. Gaurdiola played same pattern with barca when he had inesta and Xavi. Presently at Mancity, De buryne, Mahrez, Foden, Bernaldo Silver, Rodri and recently he acquired Grealish. These players I just listed have good ball control, keep the ball to their feet thereby helping their team retain ball possession and at the same time winning matches. Same thing klopp does with Mane, Salah, Thiago Alcantra, Diogo jota.. etc. It is therefore clear that both Guardiola and Klopp philosophy/playing style has brought them success.
Fred and Mctominay cant keep the ball to their feet, Pogba is inconsistent, thereby leaving Maguire and Degea exposed.

Pep and Klopp actually employ different patterns and approach to games, Liverpool plays ghenghen pressing which is a continuous attacking formation with high defensive line with both full backs running the byline to offer attacking threats. The fullbacks are actually Klopp's secret weapons thats why both Arnold and Robbo racks up high number of assists every season.
Liverpool don't have the patient required to keep the ball like Pep's tikitaka , single long pass ball from Van Dirk to Salah is thats needed to launch Liverpool on attack bypassing the opposition midfield.

Pep in the other hand plays possession football popularly called tikitaka which requires the players to keep the,string passes together and build from the keeper to defence, to midfied and the attack in a slow transitional play. City players are a lot more patient with the ball than Liverpool players, Liverpool system requires fast runners especially the width men like Mane, Salah and now Luis Diaz, then the long balls from the fullbacks is also another side to Klopp's team.

Some days ago I said Ronaldo wasn't adding anything to United games at the moment some people came for my head, maybe saying not adding anything was over the top but it's crystal clear that he adds little to the team. He doesn't have that pace anymore, he is dispossessed easily and above all not clinical in front of goal anymore. For God's sake what were did United board watching that it got to a point that United have to rely on a 37 and 34 year olds for goals in a fast, physical, high energy league like the premier league. One pundit said Ronaldo will not perform well with Fred and Mctominay as his suppliers upfront coz they're not good enough, agreed. But the chances he gets and misses them are their faults too? Kane doesn't have world class player's around him, but just don't give him a chance he will punish you, that's a striker. Again, that defence looks better without Maguire in it in my opinion, too bad he was benched for today's game meaning he will be starting the next against City. The whole team was poor today and they deserve the draw they got, I still prefer RR to OGS tho, we might not be scoring much upfront at least we aren't conceding anyhow like before. Any coach that comes to this United team has a hell of work to do on his hands coz we're miles off the top four teams at the moment.

ManU players are better than they are currently playing and that’s a fact. The coach has an effect on the style and even skill improvement of the players and team.

Rangnick is using the wrong style or doing something clearly wrong. The team is over stressed and uninspired.

Ronaldo and most of the players were better under ole than rangnick. Ronaldo will play better with the right formation and style.
