A001:Can the word 'religious' act as an adjective? Can the word 'agnostic' act as a noun? If I am asking you questions above your education let me know. Things I have to spell out to a "rationalist". ![]() And we wonder why Nigeria has problems even with all our free thinking intellectuals. ![]() |

Kloppo:Your salt is giving me joy. Did you not see Paul Tierney even during the game point to the linesman and indicate with his hands that the VAR decision ruled Richarlison clearly offside. It is even visible in the image you have there. He was as offside as Ronaldo was when he scored against Watford today. Even if it was minimal- he was and you cannot deny it. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by A001: 10:08pm On Feb 26, 2022 |
Android22:Lols, you're very confused. When an agnostic or atheist says he doesn't have a religion or believe in God and other imaginary entities of religion, there's no need to mischievously form a new religion for them which doesn't exist in reality, but only in your mind. Whether people choose to have a religion or not is solely their own decision to make. Everyone must not share in your delusions. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android22: 10:10pm On Feb 26, 2022 |
A001:Can you type "religious agnostic" into your Google search bar to see if anything pops up? Let me even slow it down for you. What is the meaning of the word "religious"? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by A001: 10:15pm On Feb 26, 2022 |
Android22:And Google told you agnosticism is a religion? Is it a religion in the world of irreligion? Are you even sure Nairaland isn't also a religion? Lols. It's clear you don't know what agnosticism is all about. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android22: 10:18pm On Feb 26, 2022 |
A001:I see. You want to waffle your way into giving me your definition of agnosticism while you pontificate about my position on religion. Good one. Is "devout" by any chance a synonym of the word religious? Will it be colloquially acceptable to say "devout agnostic"? I am looking for ways to simplify it for you here, man. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by CAPdan21(m): 10:23pm On Feb 26, 2022 |
Android22:Lol... you're talking nonsense...the PGMOL even clarified that it was not given not because of any imaginary offside but because the VAR team were not sure if it touched his hand 'properly' which is all manner of hilarious...keep pulling facts out of your arse sha all in a bid to defend Fraudiola |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by A001: 10:24pm On Feb 26, 2022 |
Android22:That's why I said you don't understand the meaning of these words you're using. Devout can mean different things in different contexts. It can mean religious or committed. But there's nothing like a devout agnostic the way you used it. It's simply a misnomer. |

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android22: 10:37pm On Feb 26, 2022 |
CAPdan21:Normally, I would ignore you because I like to stay away from going personal but I need you to know you are the one who is actually talking nonsense. The premier league still needed to clarify that even if Richarlison was not offside, Rodri using his arm to touch the ball would not have resulted in a penalty because the VAR group felt they did not see enough to overturn the onfield decision. However, Paul Tierney gesticulated to show his decision was based on Richarlison being offside and the proof is the ball was given to Ederson for a free kick instead of a throw in that would have followed. |

A001: . Have you heard the term "devout christian"? I can't believe what an intelleshual is saying here. By the way, I spelled the word to mimic how you are coming off to me. No disrespect...please. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by CAPdan21(m): 10:45pm On Feb 26, 2022 |
Android22:Another epistle proving nothing...there was no offside in that phase of play... you're the one ignoring the PGMOL explanation, if the VAR team were not sure they had enough evidence why did they not refer the Ref to the pitchside monitor....Keep falling over yourself trying to defend what even a 3 yr old knows is handball, even Rodri from his reaction knew it too |

CAPdan21:I never told you it was not a handball. I told you why the PGMOL did what they did. You can argue with your feelings but they would not affect the fact. I have attached what NBC posted - Tim Howard (interestingly is the one providing the narrative). I will also include the YouTube link so you can listen to him say it. Watch from 2 minutes 45 seconds. Cheers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoeUsbuvLUw

A001:I hope you can see that you are clearly out of your depth. The term devout Christian refers to what some Nigerians call spirikoko. People who are absolutely and inflexibly committed to their faith. They are different from nominal Christians who might fill out a form to state that they are Christians, but do not hold tenaciously to the Christian tenets. For e.g, a nominal Christian might go to church on Sundays or maybe only during Christmas, Lent, Easter, New Year etc but a devout Christian will most likely be in church midweek, for choir practice, every other day etc. Just the way you hear people say "radical muslim" "extremists" etc for certain types of Muslims. And then you have those who pick and choose what to believe about Islam even though they also claim to be muslim. If you still don't see how it applies to you and your version of agnosticism, then free the issue. ![]() |

CAPdan21:How can it be irrelevant when 1. It was offside. 2. The replays show it. 3. The onfield ref acknowledged it because he gave City a free kick after the VAR review 4. Tim Howard (who played for Everton) reviewed it and proved it? So you want the PGMOL to damn the hard evidence and give you the decision that favors you regardless of the evidence? |
