The Chinese communist party has never hidden her desire to unify taiwan to main land China. The backlash they will face achieving their desire using military force kept them in check all these years but now that Putin is unitarily trying to take over another country under the pretest of national security and also claiming historical and cultural ties, stating that Ukraine was never a country but a russian construt. If the world allows him to succeed (they will and he will), then it is only a matter of time before China invades Taiwan and the world will simply standby and watch, trend hashtags, wish them well and wait for that episode of worldly event to be over quickly. Taiwan is historically and culturally a part of China just like Hong Kong and Macau and the party is going to take it back. Putin and the world have given them justification.

true, taiwan is on a higher state of readiness and will be better prepared but the chinese military is by far bigger and better equiped with home made weapons, Though the chinese military has not seen war, so untested and not battle hardened like the russians that gained experience in syria

Meaning that a war with the USA will be a walk in the park for the Americans.

Just an observation.
