Crypto Exchanges Refuse to Freeze All Russian Accounts

Faced with a request by Ukrainian leadership to freeze the accounts of all people in Russia and Belarus, major crypto exchanges are steadfastly refusing, saying the tactic would unfairly harm civilians and “fly in the face” of the crypto community’s libertarian ideology.

Putin, zelensky was a civilian till dey joined Government offices, the war affects the civilians more because dey can't go on with their normal daily lives and whoever wins the war will control the civilians still alive in the country.

Right now crypto would probably be one the things Russian citizens in Russia are bagging on the secure them for the future due to the downward spiral of the Russian ruble and the economic uncertainty due of the sanctions placed by the west


And I don't think Russian citizens should suffer for the decision made by their leaders,same thing with banning them from sports organizations like the athletes where the ones who gave Putin the go ahead to declare war on Ukraine thereby taking away the athletes source of living
Its not like banning from sports would change Putin's mind,that'll be the least on his mind

Truth in those words, the sanctions not affecting the government is making them feel invincible and also depicts the govt as irresponsible to it's citizens.
The sanctions should be able to cripple the government source of funds like the export and imports etc.. still waiting for that cause citizens are suffering not d Government
