In February 2014, the government was toppled and that angered Russia because the former Ukrainian President was a puppet to Putin who rejected the EU Trade Deal and literally sold his country to him. This is when Putin laid his eyes on Crimea doodads and invasion of Ukraine.

U are neither here nor there. Even Russia today admitted it has taken its first city since they started but U lots claim they have taken several. U expect an invader to attack and d country to sit back and welcome them with open arms.
