One of my ambitions in life is to study up to the doctorate degree level. Though it's actually superfluous considering that I have worked as an IT network and security expert in the banking industry for 13 years. I really do not see my self going into academics as I consider myself as a professional now. However, for the sake of acquiring a phD, I have chosen to study online in a UK university. I have been offered an admission and about paying for tution. But then, isn't this going to be a waste of money? How valuable is an online degree? |

ndidibabe:I am interested in your post. You are free to take an online PhD. There is no difference whether you take it online or offline. Due to the recent covid 19 issue, there is more demand for online programs. If you are attending a physical session in the UK, your supervisor will most times communicate with you via emails. An online degree is as valuable as an offline degree. The reputation of the awarding institution is what determines the worth. Go ahead and apply. 1 Like |
