Hello fellow students of nigeria, please the committes set up by FG, concerning the strike, does it imply that ASUU will call off the warning strike?

I'm confused, is it 1 month strike or 3 months (according to a site) or no duration at all (till requirements are met)

They said one month warning strike, after which an indefinite strike might be declared if no significant efforts are made towards addressing their demands. Just pray that after the one month, government does the needful within the shortest period of time to prevent the impending indefinite strike.

What! where is FG going to get 1 TN from? it simply means indefinite strike.

All this while I was thinking it's 1 month strike and they resume. Even 500 MLN I doubt FG will give. Na wa oo huh

FG set up a commite to renegotiate with ASUU within 6 wks. so my question is would the strike be called off within that 6 wks of renegotiation?

The decision will be taken after the warning strike has ended. That's the normal procedure.

1 million dollars is far lower than 2+ billion dollars. If FG have N1 TRN (2+ billion naira) education isn't the first place to spend it on, everyone knows that.

ASUU needs to lower their wager. FG is still in control regardless.

Besides the $1m donation to the Alqaeda (for what reason in particular, only God knows!), FG also pull out an unbudgeted $8.5m that is 3.5b naira at 417naira to a dollar, for evacuation of Nigerians in Ukraine!
ASUU is not going back until their salaries are adjusted and new salary paid through UTAS.

Bros, I will advice that you remove your mind from that 14th o (in order to avoid shock that may lead to heart attack!). According to minister of education, he has set-up a committee that will report back in three month's time, that is around June! That is when talk may begin.
