Every player's agent negotiates differently based on the worth of the player at that time!

If Mane's agent had bargained with LFC for a 3 year contract when he first signed,he would have had a chance to renegotiate a new contract which would have seen him earn higher than his current payslip!
Its impossible right due to his current age which 29!
Its a contract and not a private company payment scheme where the KPI of the employee is reviewed annually for a promotion or/and pay rise!

Who approach who is not that basis of argument.... Even before a player is bought,the club agrees terms with the player & agent before a purchase is made!
If the agent & club finally agree on 100k,then why is it the fault of the club?
Even if the player in question out performs or exceed expectations,the club will only make moves to offer a new contract with the player if the current contract is few years to its expiration....no club negotiates during the middle of a current contract no matter how superlative a player performs!
In Mane's case currently,the club may offer him a new contract but it will be within the region of 200-300k due to his current age!

we all know the EPL clubs especially the big 5 have a bias towards English players tho, i understand where you are coming from,,even Manes liverpool contract was a huge upgrade for him compared to his former club, but i really have a feeling the club might sell him to upgrade salahs contract and replace him with diaz.

The feeling is mutual however i believe the club would also want both to stay as long as they keep their greed in check and maintain consistency in terms of performance!

I dont think salah is asking for a huge amount like 400k...maybe in the region of 350-380k!
Mane also deserves that amount too but will he still be around in terms of performance in 3-4 yrs time...i highly doubt that but it still depends on him keeping fit and doing what he does best!

The worse case scenario is that he will leave to spain by the end of this season and join barca or madrid that will be willing to pay him the region of 350-400k and LFC will definitely want to cash out hence they will make the sale to avoid a situation where he would want his contract to run out like Gini Wijnaldum!
