Dear Followers of God,
There are many people professing to be Christian but find it hard to say a word of prayer even once a week.
This passage presents a picture of daily offering of incense to God at twilight. God says it should be perpetual throughout all generations.
The incense can be likened to our praises and adoration which we render to God. I like your this version translates this as sweet incense. It has to be heartfelt not perfunctorily.
Bring back to mind the the good things good had done over the years and thank Him for it.
Hear the psalmist - Psalms 63:6
[6]When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.
Even if it seems like your present circumstance is in the red, remember the good the Lord has done in the past and be sincere.
