All this happened within 3 weeks and Russia is not even officially at war with ukraine and has not even scait even it's too tier level arsenal except the use of just 2 hypersonic missiles,the problem is not ukraine resistance,of course they are brave people and they won't go easily the problem here is that Russian force is just too overwhelming and they have practically zero chance of victory that is why zelensky is practically begging for peace and audience with Putin every minute.
The worst part is the innocent civilians being killed daily in droves, which is not avoidable

Fickle Russia going ballistic against tiny Ukraine without a justifiable provocation. They should have opted for a physical one on one challenge and see how far they can go with Ukraine. Russia army will be a no match for a well equipped Ukrainian military.

boss its not so let's look at it from so many views. If ukraine shld surrender maripuol then russiq would want to claim another city because that wouldn't satisfy their urge. Yes so many lives has been lost but its better they take the risk now rather than surrender and start to think of what would have happened if they had not. Besides would you just surrender your land to invaders when you know you have even just little chance of defeating them.

Hitler started slower than this,all the former members of Soviet Union and sending troops to ukraine everyday and that is probably the reason why Russia isn't able to defeat Ukraine

The ultimatum came hours after Zelenskyy told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria in an interview broadcast Sunday that failure to reach a negotiated agreement with Russia “would mean that this is a third World War.”

It appears as if Zelenskyy is more interested in a third world war than in peace in his country.

The most important issue for Ukraine and Russia is for the war to end. It should not matter which side wins or whether it becomes a stalemate.
The war should end as quickly as possible and without escalation to a world wide conflict.

Russia and Ukraine should come on round table for peace talk. Enough of destruction of life and property.

Is that why Putin arrested his top military advisers for deceiving him? You need to read the casualty numbers coming from Russia. They haven’t taken any city since the invasion and Kyiv has been surrounded for almost 2weeks without progress. Ukraine has dealt a heavy blow on the mysterious Russian military and if you don’t see it, then you’re being myopic. How many Russian generals have to die for Putin to realize this war is dead on arrival? Do you know that the Russian military have provided more military hardware support to the Ukrainians than the west? Have you heard that over 12000 Russian soldiers have lost their lives so far?

Oga google is your friend. Asides already occupied regions pre Feb 24th, they’ve not taken any new region. Why do you think they’re bombing civilian structures? Think about it, would you give an ultimatum if you could take a city with force?

Not really, there are still many civilian camps scattered all over. I think the Ukrainian soldiers are using the applying the human shield tactics.
Which is some what barbaric. I believe the presence of too many people in that town is behind Russia's announcement for them to surrounder. If they start attacking now, you will still see the huge civilian casualties that will be reported.

Zelensky is somewhere sitting on Sofa Chair, eating fresh food, sleeping soundly with his Wife and his Bank account well loaded by his American backers but he is asking "Ordinary Ukrainians" to fight to the last and not surrender!
If and when they die, is he going to resurrect them?

Everyone must know when to Fight and when to "Stoop to Conquer".
It is selfish-foolisheness on the part of Zelensky, to jeep fighting, getting your country destroyed and people killed, ina War that you know you cant win.
But he is being Pushed by America and NATO/EU Weapon sellers.

Im eyes go soon clear, lasl las, he will still surrender, cannot join NATO and the breakaway Republics of Lugansk and Donetsk are gone for good. I am suspecting that Odessa and Mariupol will also declare Independence, by the time all these calms down. Those two areas have been the subject of brutal suppression, by the Zelensky Ukrainian Govt and they wont miss this chance to gain their independence and freedom.

Russia has taken kherson, all the areas of Dombas Region (that is why they can declare and still hold their Republics of Lugansk and Donetsk), some areas of Odessa and Lviv in the West.

The only Pre Feb 24 occupied place in Ukraine, is Crimea. All other places after that were taken after Feb 24 Invasion

BTW: To say Russia has taken a City, is a relative term because Russia is not going to kill everyone who does not want them in that City but once the "Govt Administration" of a City is captured or replaced by another Group that Russia imposes and the Ukrainian Army has been clear-out of the City Centre, that City, from a War perspective is TAKEN.
