If this is not hate speech, then, what is? This Muric, if not called to order, would one day plunge this country into a religious war. The RCCG setting up a political department, I believe, is meant to separate it from its core religious mandate, though not a Redeemer myself. Nigeria, on paper, is a secular country but we know Nigeria, as country, was smuggled into the Organization of Islamic Countries (IOC) and heaven did not fall in spite of the bitter criticisms against the move by Christians. Why should a mere department of a local church be such a threat to our "brothers" up North? To say the North/Muslims shouldn't vote for a member of the RCCG is provocative, discriminatory, unconstitutional, mischievous and a joke taken too far. Just hit the nail on the head. You want Tinubu (Muslim) but despise Osinbajo (Christian) and a pastor of the RCCG. Religious persecution must be jettisoned if Nigeria must move forward. MURIC! Your excesses are almost getting overboard. |

Yoruba Muslims has been tolerating yoruba Christians for long. In 2015 Yoruba Christians see APC as a Muslims party, but yet yoruba Christians were given more opportunities than their Muslims counterparts. Tell me any Christians dominated states in South west that yoruba Muslims ever governed. Whereas, yoruba Christians has been given opportunities in Muslims dominated states. I can tell you categorically that any yoruba Christians that supported or voted for yoruba Muslims is benefiting directly from the yoruba Muslims government |

Still on the MURIC issues, Christians should learn that he who lives in glass houses should not throw stones. For over 20 years, most Christians did the same thing Muric is doing against Osibanjo against Buhari. Buhari , we were told, was going to islamise Nigeria when he took over, and was going to ensure that Sharia would be the law of the land, was going to appoint Muslims to all the posts, and so on. Well, at the end, it's almost 2023, Buhari has done nothing of the sort.(On religion, all he does is make the obligatory greetings on holidays. And he has been as ruthless on Boko as other regimes...after all they did try to kill him in 2014. And no, Buhari is still a bad leader in my books. Someone who does not understand what a subsidy is is not fit to lead). Now the same weapon is being deployed against Osibanjo. (and it was deployed against GEJ too, let's be fair). We Christians should not cry. After all, we did the same thing against Buhari, and against any new muslim candidate. We called them 'religious warriors' so we should not complain when MURIC returns the abuse in kind. All in all, it boils down to one point. Nigerians do not vote for candidates based on how they can benefit everyone, they vote for candidates based on how many crumbs they can get from the table. That's why we get mediocre rulers...it's because of our crumbs attitude. We want goodies, not development. And accessing goodies is easier when someone who shares the same tribe or religion is in place. If we want good leaders, and if we want to end all these MURIC attacks, then Nigerians...Muslims and Christians, have to end their 'goodies attitude' to government....and start desiring development...and maybe in 20 years we may see MURIC agitating for a Pentecostal president because his polices have led to 40% growth in job creation.(In America, some black people voted for Trump, not because they loved him, but because he campaigned on bringing jobs back to the US, which benefits everyone...blacks included. They did not vote for Trump because he was going to share money for them.). |

CyynthiaKiss:alaye there is nothing like Yoruba Muslims or Yoruba Christians, but i blame our traditional rulers for not nipping this nonsense in the bid.. Because it's happening in Osun and in Oyo UI international school, we do have some Muslim fanatics among us, no Yoruba family that does not have a Muslim or a Christian in it none, for some to now come out that they are fighting for an imaginary right should be condemned, none of us have any problem with each other, you will see an Alfa in church during Harvest, you will see a Yoruba pastor in Mosque during wolimat, so what's and where is the problem? And Awo has warned, religion should never be a part of politics or government, Muric should respect it self and its high time government call it to order, because it's doing nothing but fanning the ember of hatred, the clown has got to far to other states to get recruits, who he sponsors press interviews for and they promote it in the media after people were calling him a one man show, Nafsat never talk Na mumuric dey bark.. Nonsense. FYI am not a redeemer but I hate mixing religion with politics. |
