Yoruba muslims used to be the most liberal and most indifferent set of muslims you can ever find anywhere. I'm not a Yoruba but I live in Yoruba land. Yoruba muslims are politically docile too. When a yoruba muslims is occupying an office he never discriminate on religious ground. Reason you see most of them marrying nonmuslim women and not even minding whether their kids follow them in thier religion or not. Examples of such muslims abound. From Tinubu to Fashola, from Saraki to Lateef Jakonde. They are many.
However, their christian counterpart aren't like that. Yoruba christians are being brainwashed by thier pastors, pursuing an evil agenda to dominate. Thereby instigating the spirit of competition with their brothers of opposite faiths. The constant Hijab saga has also opened the eyes of some Yoruba muslims to the fact their religion is hated and targetted.
But Yoruba muslims are gradually waking up to the sad realization that thier christian brothers seek to dominate them.
I'm very familiar with some Yoruba christians in the corridor of power in Lagos. I cannot go further than this.

This man is peddling falsehood here and spreading divisive messages. A very treasonqble offense at that but DSS will not prosecute. Making a serious allegation on issues that could lead to civil or religious war is not to be treated with child's play at all. That said, the said political structure in RCCG is important because one of the reasons was to raise a Godly, 'traceable' leader and rightly position them for political career without blemish as touching the Bible and other morale standard. Not to wipe out Islam or other religions. We know its Islamic scholars that are prone to such tendencies so don't try to blackmail them.
