In a proper, working democracy these big budget projects which are always an opportunity cost will be scrutinized closely by the public and its representatives to see if the funds could be better deployed to areas, sectors and needs that are more pressing.
That is a democracy of the people and by the people.

What's the need constructing railways when you don't have refined gas to fuel them..

Better late than never though, I pray whoever (APC or PDP) takes over from Buhari continues from where his administration stops. If anything, kudos to this govt for prioritising infrastructural development; the only sector I give them a pass mark. Bogus or no bogus, they are getting it done, unlike those who do groundbreaking, release money for and end up doing nothing.

Between I am not saying some persons will be not go home loaded, but these things are now hyper-expensive. It took long enough for us to start investing in it with all seriousness.
