Because he was not that spectacular as Governor of Lagos, and because of that corruption thing too (think Alpha beta.). And he is a part of the APC mess that has made things worse over the last 7 years. No thanks.
Pls stop that rant, you may hate him politically all ur life agreed, and be vexing how he brought PMB to power, fine but one thing u can't take away from him are his Midas touch to Lagos Economy.

Even his opposition envy him, till today he remains the father of modern Lagos. I'm not saying he is perfect and excluded from all other corruption and co but Biko no talk bad his competency. grin
Left for he should go and sit down, he is old.

Wike the slayer of Atiku and Ipob. They have been crying since his declaration. I’m supporting him with my full chest and there is nothing you wailing clowns can do about it.

But Bubu lost 2-3 times after that, and kept on losing.

He then went and rebranded himself as a 'tolerant' guy...and also formed alliances, and also benefitted from splits in the PDP then, to win in 2015.

Throw in the fact that the internet in 2001...in Nigeria was underdeveloped. If there was Youtube in 2001...videos of Bubu talking about how he would 'entrench Sharia' would have resurfaced and gone viral.

2011 violence was caused by typical foolish Nigerians angry that their share of the national cake was gone
But you all yorubas knew about his blood soaking tendencies yet voted him. You guys should respect yourselves please

Support Atiku for what exactly? Suffer no dey tire una ni? Must you guys be slaves forever? Fulani man is leaving the stage and you want another Fulani man for the next 8 years simply because you think he may pick Obi Pandora as running mate. Why are you guys like this?

See, Wike is the best performing governor in PDP. He has a track record of achievements while Atiku only has a huge baggage of corruption to show for his time in public service. At 78, Atiku is almost senile. We cannot vote in such a corrupt and old clown. Wike is the best choice for PDP so all of us in the south must support him to get the ticket.

Jokes taken too far. He does not even deserve vice president slot of any political party in Nigeria, not to talk about the once biggest political party in Africa.

At the end his declaring rivers a Christian state and his comments on danfodio may get him into problems.

Remember Yerima who kicked off the Zamfara Sharia thing? He was the toast of millions. When he tried to run for president......

You can be religious in Nigeria, but not too too religious as a political somebodi
Declaring his state a Christian as the Governor is not a bad decisions. he is not the first person to do that, it has happened in the north many times and no one complains about that so why Wike’s?

And the Man who openly asked Muslims to vote for Muslim candidates and openly advocated for Shari'a law all over Multi Religious Nigeria is where now?
Or the Governor who claims to be a Pastor but can't pay his workers their wages and blames everything on Fulanis.
As long as the Constitution and laws of the land doesn't relegate religion completely, we can't move forward. PRACTICE YOUR RELIGION PRIVATELY.
The Average Nigerian Muslim won't support a Christian Candidate Neither will he/she wish a Christian President Success and Vice Versa.
Both religions have clogged the wheel of our progress.

Better go and run for office. You can do better than Tinubu or Atiku , et al.

It's not just about you.
We as a people can never get it right with this current set-up.
It's always North or South, Christian or Muslim.
I expect Discussions like Massive Off Grid drive (to tackle the monstrous power issue), Building gas Pipelines to Europe and the Americas, leveraging on the influence and spread of Nollywood to become a tourist hub, Tax holiday for investors, Modernizing our security structure etc.

Nigerians attitude to politics and governance is perplexing. We quite alright understand the terrain we are operating and that was what give credence to the clamour for a southern presidency at this important junction. Gladly, Men of southern extractions including Gov Wike are coming out to profess and showcase what they have to offer, so why should we pull them down. Ehat is our gain. Their boldness to come out and talk to us will definitely enrich our campaign history books and create more options of idea in the polity. Let us assume we have a personal vendetta against a man like Wike, that should be exercised at the party poll or national poll. We need to mature in our thinking and thought process politically and imbibe civility moving forward.

If it ever gets to wike vs Amaechi, in Rivers wike wins, everywhere else Amaechi wins.

But Apc will not play that gamble
That's not even a gamble.
Wike's defeat will be worse than what Atiku had

“Tout”? A lawyer with a judge as a wife, former local government chairman, Chief of staff to a governor, Minister and a serving governor? You call such a person a tout?

Do you know that it takes a tout to know one?

Go and contest for a position in your school first, before insulting people you do not know physically.
