Nowadays i find it difficult to watch movies, most especially series in which women takes the lead role. I feel like they try so hard to overcompensate on the fact that they are women instead of embracing the softness it adds. The last series i enjoyed with a female lead role is Anna. Gone are the days of beautiful strong women in series like Nikita, the Good wife, Devious maids, Grey's anatomy.
I'm hungry for a female lead series that is balanced.

How to get away with murder had Annalise Keating and we loved it...
Look at The Villainess, a Korean action movie from a few years ago...with a female lead but I enjoyed it cos she was well written...there are still a few shows or movies with well written female leads...

It's just that it's hard for Hollywood to write good female leads nowadays...
Most of the good ones I've seen are either from years ago or from other countries...
Feels like Hollywood is more focused on female empowerment than writing a good female lead character

WoT won't be coming out till November or December.
I think the bar is raised very high for them this season two for two reasons.

1) The house of dragon and the ring of fire.
2) The attack they got from fans for not following the source material.

So don't be surprise, i repeat don't be surprise if the season 2 actually go toe to toe with ring of fire and the house of dragon.
These people have learnt their mistakes and will obviously do better in season 2.
Do you know the season 2 even have a more bigger budget and more casts added?
Even Amazon had to space both series because they know each it's unique on it's own.
So never look down on the season 2 of Wheels of time, they might pull out a surprise return.
You know season 2 of game of thrones was better much better than season 1 right?

So yes the wheel of Time will come better this time.
Actually i feel since it's the season 2, It will be much better than the house of dragon and the ring of fire because both Series are Just season 1 and you guys should not expect much because they have to slowly build up characters and storylines in the house of dragon and the ring of fire.
You people should not expect much from the house of dragon and the ring of fire.
Wait for season 2.
