How about a one time pass to Werner here? Looks to me like the passing lane was open for a split second and the moment he delayed, it got closed down.

Why oyinbo legal system be like this now? I understand she must given up her job to.raise the family which explains why she should get part of his current fortune, but making him part with a proportion of his future earnings even after the divorce get as e be o. Why not just mandate him be responsible for his children upkeep till they are adults and let the wife go hustle on her own.

As in!!! The one wey dey mad me pass na that FUTURE EARNINGS!!! Like how would someone be entitled to money I've not yet made?

That's why prenuptial agreements are highly recommended. Any smart person getting married in these countries have to get the other to sign prenups before marrying that spouse. Love alone can never sustain a marriage.
With time the euphoria of that love fades and tolerance and understanding becomes that glue that binds the couple. Sometimes things become too much for the other to handle. Always sign prenups.

We are in an age of trade and improvement of your citizens lives, not claiming pieces of land whose economic value is not equal to the economic shock your population will receive if try to go to war over it. That's why UK and Spain have never, and will never fight over Gibraltar. It usually takes an unhinged, old leader who has been too long removed from normal life to misunderstand this principle like Putin is doing.

I personally believe there is nothing stopping Russia from joining the EU and NATO except a lack of democracy and imperialistic ambitions. If Germany and Japan could drop their Imperialism and Autocracy and become the foremost economies in the world with their Citizens living la vida loca, then only Putin and those FSB mindset is stopping Russia from joining the comity of Nations. In history, Russia and Britain have always fought war on the same side and they have strong history of cooperation with the French except for the Napoleonic period. They are Europeans afterall and blood is thicker than water. I believe NATO will love to have a democratic Russia on its side as a deterrent against China who they share border with and who they are militarily superior to. They just need to do away with the past and old ways of thinking that Putin represents. All their former neighbours like Lithuania, Estonia and co are chopping life now, and if the Western world can absorb strong enemies like Japan and Germany, and even East Germany just 30 years ago and make them successful, then improving the lives of 150m Russians that have much to offer is a piece of cake. Putin is taking Russia the wrong way, simples.
