I don't understand this struggle that requires the murder of innocent people, burning down of valuable assets and the total annihilation of security agents in some cases. Add to it a total shutdown on Mondays which is the first day of the business week...ojo aje as Yorubas call it. Isn't that a path to ruination of the very vibrant economy hitherto?

The 2nd Niger Bridge is near completion. The chemical and fertilizer blending plant in Ebonyi state has long been revitalized. The Ikot Ekpene-Alaoji-Ugwuaji Switching & Transmission Station has also been completed.

Construction of a modern Medical Diagnostics Center is ongoing at the Federal Medical Center, Umuahia.

So, this is not about the FG not siting projects in the SE. If these unknown gunmen think they could cow the authorities by destroying properties and killing innocent people, let them continue.

Kanu has the law to face. I don't see how this could make the gunmen destroy their own homeland. Nothing justifies what they are doing, and no government should succumb to these threats.
