It will be tough cos some people have mocked him by saying he doesnt even know his ward agents or chairperson by name. He would need a strong structure and Tinubu has stopped being Father Christmas..

At the end of the day, Buhari and his cabal would determine who gets the ticket of his party. I don't know why many 'analysts' here are so forgetful and naive.

Tinubu and his useless money means nothing. Same with the other political thieves who have declared. They can't buy the presidency. It is not gonna happen. Buhari would decide (of course he would end up playing himself) who gets the ticket. It's not a coincidence that the so-called consensus provision was included. Then again even without the consensus, the president and commander in chief and his inner caucus in a backward country like Nigeria would manipulate things easily.
