Infact where are the instances of the other ones having the opportunity to make assists and failing. That's more troubling

That is simply because he doesn't have it in him to be creative. I saw him messing up good chances to create a goal from open play against very weak Southampton because he doesn't have the skill. Most people are bamboozled by his work rate, but eagled-eyed fans like us can easily set aside work rate from technique, which should be essentially the best quality of an attacking midfielder.

On the side, can you imagine Mount as a coach after he retires?

I thought you said Mount was a winger not long ago

Both Mount and Havertz have been playing winger in a 3-4-3 for well over a year now with Havertz dipping in and out to the striker role. And what precludes Havertz from making assists like other strikers or false 9s
