What My Sister Told Me About ESN, SIT AT HOME In The South East. by Karlman: 9:18pm On Apr 10, 2022
I live in Lagos with my family but I have my other family who live in the East including my mother and my Sister.
So today my mother went to spend the weekend at my sister's house. My sister placed a call to inform me that my mother was around and after talking and telling them I will be sending some money for my Mum immediately after we end the call, I decided to ask them about the effects of ESN AND SIT AT HOME.

In honesty what I heard from them surprised me considering what pervades the media as reports about happenstances in the east about ESN AND IPOB AND SIT AT HOME.

I decided to tell this story the way it happened so anyone reading this would understand it is real live report from the horses mouth.

So I said to me Sis, when is my Mum going back to her house. She said, let me ask her. She then laughed and said, She insist she is going today because tomorrow is Sit At Home.

I said, Ooh, Sit at home, by the way, does the ESN people disturb Our Mothers from going about their business?

She said, how will they disturb the mothers they know who they are looking for. It is only if your business takes you across the express they wouldn't let you pass but if whatever you're doing is within your immideate environment you're free to go about your business!

Then She threw the Bombshell that made me come here for all to hear from the mouth of the people in the East.

"Mothers in the East now do their meetings on the Sit At Home Days. And they have said it is better for them to sit at home on Mondays than farm on Mondays for Fulani Cow to come and graze over their farmlands!"

Then I was like, "Are you saying there are no more Fulani Cows in the Farmlands?"

And she responded, "Let them come naw and have their heads cut off."

I was like are you serious about this?

She said, " The Fulanis have disappeared from the Farmlands with their Cows since the coming of ESN, so whatever the farmers farm grows without being eaten by Fulani Cows. And the people would rather Sacrifice a day every week so long as the Farmlands are freed from damages from Fulani Cows!"

So Nairalanders, I hope you all like myself have learnt something about the true situation of things in the South East. And I also hope will understand that this is actually different from the political unrest in some eastern capitals in Imo and Anambra that have often been confused with the actual usefulness and activities of real ESN.

Thank you and God bless!

Seun, ! Kindly put this up as it is very important!

What she told is true.
Sentiments apart. But the problem is they (esn) are taking laws into their hands. Also majority of esn are touts and criminals by doing the dirty jobs at night.

Look, the thing is most news in Nigeria is fake. They are triggered by tribalism and hate speech. I don't even know what to believe again especially these IPOB/ESN group. Everyday you hear news that they are terrorizing SE. But when I ask my fellow South Easterners, they say otherwise.
SO ANY NEWS ABOUT IPOB/ESN, I JUST IGNORE IT.

Akuko!!

What's the population of Igbo people that are farmers?

You force other Igbo people to lose their revenue on Monday and you think your head is okay.

You live in Lagos but you don't sit at home on Mondays. Is that not a clear sign of foolishness?
How can you support what you don't partake in? Come to the east and sit at home!!

IPOB propaganda is meant for their fellow IPOB members.

The real truth

Asari Dokubo and his boys are the *UGM* in the east.
They are been sponsored by *FG* to counter *ESN*

Asari Dokubo is against Governor Wike because Wike stopped Dokubo bunkering business in Rivers state.

Some fools want to kill the guy for saying the real truth. Be4 now Fulani do grez on our land, but now fear no go free them. I traveled last year and witness how the sit at home works. It active but by 11am. Ppl have start moving about. And east is not like Lagos where ppl go to work by 5am, it takes up to 7.30am for u to see much ppl on the road.
Most of u killing him never travel to ur villa for 5yrs now. And some mugu that are supposed to face their mining job and boko boys, go come here they ran mouth anyhow.
We are all Igbo's Soludo should stop all this other state word. He is not fooling anybody, park chairman in any state are all indigenous ppl of the state, they know their boys.

My Dear i have told the story as told from the people on ground and you are free to tell your own story if you have one.
I am not saying the sit at home is ok or anything outside what I was told.
The sit at home is not ok and it is affecting business and other activities but the farmers are saying that ESN have chased away the fulanis and their cows from their farmlands and that they would rather spare a day to sit so long the fulanis are chased out

You guys should tell your own story rather than saying negative things about my story.

Kindly be careful as I would not entertain any foolish talk kindly.

Thanks

Dude you can't be serious
How many igbos have lost their lives for not obeying?
You can't take one person/one area to judge a situation

Sit at home has been a terrible thing in the SE that has outlasted it's usefulness.

Any opinion other than is bulls .hit n lies

My friend buried his father. Do you know how much he had to shell out to those wicked people. Just so the burial is not disturbed

Abeg Don't come here to paint images of sunshine.

Since we don't know the fake esn from the real, all of them have to go.

We don't want their kind liberation
