Iyin Aboyeji, one of the co-founders of the Flutterwave, has broken silence hours after David Hundeyin published an investigative report which accused Flutterwave founders of various financial malfeasance.

According to the journalist, backed with shocking pieces of evidence, the founders of the tech startup participated in insider trading, identity fraud, sexual misconduct, and other alleged crimes. This stirred heated reactions.

Now, one of the founders – Iyin, has taken to Twitter to address the claims. “All lies. Only I went and we were cleared. David should have called me for comment but he doesn’t care about the truth,” he said.

I'm not sure this totally qualifies as a rebuttal.

There is a case before the Industrial Court concerning the company defrauding a former employee of their stock options. Then their is the allegations of insider trading; buying back stock options below their fair market price (forcefully, if I may add). The accusations of sexual impropriety is not even addressed.

The way I was taught, to write a rebuttal you take each issue and say your side of the story.

This doesn't do justice to the word rebuttal.
