I greet una my people. I am very new to this side of Nairaland. Politics is my section.

Abeg make una help a brother. I recently got a plot of land which I am planning to start developing soon.

The problem here is, I don’t have a clear picture of what I want in mind. I am thinking of building two duplex 3 bedrooms each in the land but I am very very confused with everything, the structure, Patterns and so on.

That look so lovely, but I am developing for renting. With that design, I am imagining where the staircase that leads to the occupants of the up space will be.

Staircase is within the building.
We can come up with something nice for rentals too .

I know staircase will be within the building but what I am not being able to it through my head is where in the building because I Don’t want this old school kind staircase in upstairs.

Staircase is at the lounge area. Straight flight staircase linking the upper floor lounge.

This is my point of contention. It’s rental so it’s going to be two rooms flat up and down for different occupants. So putting the staircase in middle of the lounge won’t make sense.

Oh I thought you said it's Two units of 3bedroom duplex?
If what you plan to build is two units of 2bedroom flats , then there would be a stairway linking the flat on the upper floor. Access could be from the front or from the back.

This right here is a three bedroom duplex, one room down and two up, terrace style, originally designed as a 3 unit in one building with 2 independent but mutual stair halls, with your requirements i can modify it to be 2 units in one building, terrace style with a car park each and a small gate house. Budget friendly design.

This here looks good, but my worries is, having a two units of duplex of 3rooms each with this kind of edifice.

if well built it will come out well, the design and simple, it is just a contemporary design
