The Wire is on another level, but Top Boy comes the closest to filling the void left by The Wire. It captures the London drug scene in a very realistic and grounded format.

If you go in expecting to be disappointed, I'm afraid it will become a self-fulfilling prophecy; however, if you go in with an open mind, there's a good chance you'll be satisfied. The show is addictive; once you're hooked, you won't be able to stop watching it until it's finished.

No. It isn't. The Plot is quite complex, I agree.

Boardwalk empire is set in about 3-4 different cities (Atlantic City, Chicago and New York) so if you are not really careful, you won't grasp it. What I will advise is to watch the first season about two times so as to get the foundation of the story 100%.

It's a very enjoyable series bros and I respect your opinion.

Those guys that played Lucky Luciano, Al Capone and Arnold Rothstein were my favourite characters. I didn't even like Nucky Thompson that much.

Just discovered that Netflix has canceled monarca season 3.
Wow!!! Now that's a shocker because the season 2 was so good and even ended up in a cliffhanger.
Netflix is either canceling or delaying release of Great series and bringing new shity series.

It took me less than a month to finish the entire 5 seasons of boardwalk empire.
One of my all time favorite series.
Just settle down and watch it, you will enjoy it.
