We all had wonderful memories back then in primary and secondary school days. Memories that will forever live on in the rest of our lives.

Tracing back the sports and activities I did when I was in primary school precisely, match past parade was one of my favorite top sports.

Did you ever participate in match past competition back in your primary and secondary school days, from inter-house sports competition to going to your state stadium on 27th May and 1st October just to compete for your school?

I usually hold the flag when I was in secondary school. God forgive me for singing the Nigerian national anthem. I didn't know what I was doing then

Two terrible things happened to me when I was in jss2 that made me wish the ground should open and swallow me... In fact these events can't be forgotten in a hurry in my life

First... I stole my mum's money to go and play ps1 with my guys... And my mum just knew I was the one, me not knowing what purpose that money stands for was thinking it does not matter, while in the class my friend tapped me and said ur mum wants to see you, instantly I knew it was because of the money... She just said give me the money u took from my purse ... Chai I prayed for ground to open that day, cos I know I would die that day out of flogging...

Secondly... I performed very poorly at the end of one of the term, and as a result some of my subjects were not giving scores or grades, mumu me I went to fill in scores by myself and for myself and to make it all more foolish... I used my hand writtng for about 6 subjects (when my family saw it they knew I had done it myself) Chai ground open make u swallow me Na... Na die I dey o...

Oh! My childhood was really fun man... We had fun angry grin

OP I no derail ur thread o, I just say make I Share the most foolish part of my childhood

Your Childhood experience was indeed really fun. Your first story was as exactly as mine when I was in Jss3. But my classmate was the culprit here.. He stole his mom's money and made us believe it was his own money. When school dismissed, I and two other boys then followed him to a gaming shop. We played game with the money till 7pm in the evening.

The next morning before assembly, he asked me and those two other boys to accompany him to go buy one trending Nokia phone C3, with the same stolen money. He gave us #50 each as a tip for accompanying him buy the phone. During breaktime that same day, I saw him, his mum, two teachers and our principal in the school compound as they were having his school bag ransacked.

As a smart guy, I sensed something was wrong. My instinct told me all the money he's been spending with us was stolen. I had to miss school for three days. It was later I learnt that he and those two boys following him were flogged mercilessly and and humiliated at the school assembly ground. grin

With the way Nigeria is structured do you still believe that the labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain?

If you had known the labour of your past heroes has been in vain, you wouldn't sing the anthem?
