This match is the most useless game I've ever watched since the beginning of Xavi's career at Barca.

See hopelessness and stupid plays from players back to back. TF!! Even coach head sef no correct. Keeping Pique for longer minutes on the pitch was a very risky move. Dani Alves spending that amount of time in the pitch was tactical laxity.

Almost all the whole players played trash today except from Stegen and to a lesser extent maybe Pique. The rest? Absolute rubbish!!

Ferran Torres oo. Him head no correct. Aubameyang and Dembele? Confused bunch. The trio of midfield? Jokers. Frenkie just dey fall like mumu for pitch with useless passes. Jordi Alba stupid play. Alves? I no even know how I wan describe that one.

Yes were under immense pressure especially start of 2nd half. It is to be expected. We were coming off a bad run of form.

And our defenders were all struggling with fitness.

I say it is our best performance of the season so far.

I look at where we were coming from and what the win meant for us to say this is our best performance.

Sure, we played way better against Cadiz but we left empty handed on that occasion.

Today, we faced an intense team and withstood all they threw at us.

Well, I loved our grit. We were coming from a bad run and Real Sociedad has been very good at home, losing last in December.

It is a top of the table clash. You don't expect them to get rolled over, do you?

They showed lots of intensity but we were able to escape with all three points.

If it were last season, this game is a sure 3 pts lost.

There was no grit on display here. You want to talk about grit, talk about the games against Galatasary and Sevilla. You can’t use grit to characterize a match where they couldn’t make passes even when under no pressure.

We won the match, which is the most important thing. We should just leave it at that.

Okay maybe not fully in terms of possession but in terms of intensity, ball winning and fast transitions my brother we were mostly second best especially in the second half, I laud pique for playing through pain for us before he left the pitch, Though of course you're right on our bad form and defenders struggling through fitness, I just hope xavi is taking tabs and notes on this team in preparation for next season, Aggression, Body building and more intensity need to be added to the ones he laid on ground, We can't be having soft players everywhere and most importantly we have to dip our hands in our purses for the transfer market, This squad needs a mini overhaul both front and back

The ten minutes was well deserved and was expected.
They had lots of stops during the game and lots of fouls and injuries.
The Ref did a great job today, he was fair to both sides.
We really don't have to complain though. The injuries changed xavi's game plans.
I know he could have brought in dempay and Adama to soak in the pressure from the wings and make the defense of Real tracked back but injuries happened so he had no choice.
So we really have no right to complain.
Even if we had drew the game, we the fans have no right to complain because we understood what happened.
Any match where you have to remove two of your best defenders will actually affect your whole game plan.
And if you noticed even Alba wasn't even fit, he was injured during the match.

Tonight's game was the team's first clean sheet in La Liga at the Anoeta since 2007.

The last time they lost at home was in December last year, ever since then they have been unbeaten at home.
It was Barcelona that broke the deadlock today even with all our injuries.
They are the most defensive team this season in laliga.
Bro!!! The players of Barcelona tried 100%. Anyone that complains hasn't played real football in his youth.
We that played real inter State football tournament knows what it means for Barcelona to win this game.

That ground is not anyone's stumping ground. The fans are close the pitch. The games are so intense and the whole place will be vibrating. Very uncomfortable for the opposition.

No one plays well at the Reale Arena. If you come away with a win, then it is your best performance.

Brother i believe you know what it means to play football today and then travel interstate to play another match again in 3 days time against teams like Cadiz and real Sociedad with a squad that has no second eleven.
Even after traveling from Germany the previous weeks.
The players are exhausted. One of the things affecting Barcelona is lack of squad dept. After our 1st eleven, the squad is literally empty.

Hopefully it becomes easy for us.
How i wish Xavi can just rest Aubumayang and Torres and just use depay in the wings instead of Torres and then DeJong as top 9.

Xavi needs to use those players and see how they will come through. He can't keep bringing on DeJong in 90 minutes and expects magic and depay is not a striker, he is a winger who is the best player currently in Holland during international matches so why is Xavi not using him in his right position?

Sometimes Xavi annoys me because it is clear that Ferran Torres isn't a winger. He is more of a standing top 9.
