Simply support whoever emerge as the party candidate after primaries
If they don’t desist from their selfish ambition, Allah will destroy their work and they will be the losers. Allah gives power to whom He wills, not a cabal or any human beings. They plot, and Allah plot, the plot of Allah will subdue the plot of evil doing people. Allah is the only One that enthrones a leader. Let them continue playing God, they shall be shocked.

Joe Biden had built a political structure spanning over 40 years. He had his own political capital and did not rely on Obama's
That is US not Africa or Nigeria. In Nigeria personal political party structure won't give you party ticket, right from councillor to presidential level.
Having said that, Sleeping Joe won't have gotten the ticket without the support of Obama and other top Democrat, he was drafted into the the election, before the election, everyone knows that Joe would be Democratic candidate.

We keep hearing of this cabal every time. Who are these people who seem more powerful than the president? It's clear these people don't mean well for the country. In fact, it is safe to say that they are the ones perpetually keeping this country in this sorry state.

The Nigerian presidency is a secret organization. The earlier we know this the better for us.

Reads more like beer parlour gossip. Anyways, primaries is in some few weeks ahead, we'll all see the "powers" the over-hyped "cabal" has in determining who emerges the APC's presidential flag bearer.

Rubbish! No more good investigative journalism again in naija, everything now is speculation, for your own information or for every person that will see this post, I am telling you authoritatively that osinbajo is buhari's candidate, leave all these brown envelopes takers calling themselves journalists alone.Honouranble Muhammed, buhari's nephew and house of reps member representing daura constituency was in osinbajo's entourage to ibadan yesterday, what else do you need to see before you know the VP is buhari's choice? Even though I got my information before yesterday, but for people reading, this is obviously obvious.
Honestly good journalism died a long time ago. In few days it will be clear to all that Buhari’s candidate is Osinbajo. And that’s the incoming President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. QED..

In my opinion, Osibanjo will be a hard sell to APC and Nigerians in general. Unless Buhari uses Gestapo style rigging, it will be impossible to get Osibanjo elected as president. He just does not have the political capital. Osibanjo has zero political structure to win any election, even local government chairmanship election.

The South South and South East will not accept another Yoruba president at this time. If Buhari imposes Osibanjo as APC's presidential candidate, Tinubu and his formidable political machinery would frustrate him and APC at the general elections. I don't even see the middle belt supporting Osibanjo.

To me Buhari's best bet is Amaechi. It's still difficult, but I am sure Tinubu would rather support Amaechi than Osibanjo. Amaechi had built a political bridge with the north in his years as governor and as transport minister.
I think you're right.

The fact that Osinbajo can be considered as an extension of the Buhari regime which so many people are not so fond of anymore, will also count against him.

If you read well,it was stated that while there are yet to make up their minds on whom to support, they already know those who won't smell aso rock with Tinubu and Osibanjo at the very top of that list cool cool
If Osinbajo and tinubu can team up ,no cabal can stop them, infact, Buhari will be crushed if he stands in their way.

The way things are going, I think they want to use vp to scuttle Tinubu and latter give it to their prefare candidate

they know what they are doing , they arent confused , they know those who will not succeed buhari and they will eventually agree on a person to lead . their only concern now is who can they trust that will keep protecting the interest of the fulanis and the north and guarantee their protection

Personal political structure includes party alliances and support. Obama's support was important but it was not the only important one. Afterall Obama gave Hillary Clinton more support. The Democratic Party executives wanted Biden. Even Trump political organization knew that Biden was the only one capable of beating him, and tried to promote other candidates.

Saying rubbish to sell ur s/s candidate.

And if I may ask you, which structure ur own Amechi has?

Go to rivers and see things urself oga.

If not that Amaechi is a minister, he would have journeyed to political oblivion by now by forces led by Magnus Abe.

You have said it all. When the President said that they may start attacking his preferred candidate if he made it open, I then understood that it could be Osibanjo. With these your points, it is now clearer he is.

Are you saying their indecision will cause Tinubu to emerge or you're speaking your conviction? Because I am about to see you as an enemy of Nigeria who doesn't want us to progress and compete with the rest of the world if you are championing Tinubu presidency. It'd be worse than this govt.

The Present Nigeria needs a vibrant, agile, digital nd revolutionary leadership, one in tune with global prospects nd appeal,. Buhari was a great mistake, we can't afford to make the same again by electing someone who's only after his life's ambition despite frail health and outdated leadership style of paying WAEC fees and many other pedestrian promises

Who says Buhari cannot choose one person, lets say Sylva and then invite the so-called party stakeholders again and force them to return him as the candidate?

You seem to belittle the powers and authority a president can wield in Nigeria, let alone his party.

This Presidency is for the South East Region that is Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi, Imo and Abia state to present candidate.

Allow the Igbos to present candidates for the major political party

Other regions should step down for the Igbos.

That is the only way we can clearly claim the spirit of ONE NIGERIA.
