Nonsense set of illiterate Northern Politicians called cabals who have held this country hostage for so long and messed things severely in this government which contributed to the poor performance.

Tinubu might be old and we need a young person as president this time but this is exactly the reason I personally would prefer Tinubu to become the president.

He is the only one i think, in my opinion, that can put these cabals in their place. Until this guys are annihilated and made irrelevant no president can rule at his own goodwill and full capacity. And I feel Tinubu has the political might to do that though I may stand to be disappointed after all the General said he would fight and defeat corruption, insurgency and insecurity under few months if given power but here we are with corruption, Insecurity and Insurgency at all time high in the history of our nation.

The cabal led by PMB knows that anybody can go but Bola Tinubu. They already know who will pick the APC ticket and a few days to the primaries the pendulum will swing and there will be a thunderbolt. Delegates, please, keep cashing out from as many aspirants as you can before the D-Day.

In my opinion, Osibanjo will be a hard sell to APC and Nigerians in general. Unless Buhari uses Gestapo style rigging, it will be impossible to get Osibanjo elected as president. He just does not have the political capital. Osibanjo has zero political structure to win any election, even local government chairmanship election.

The South South and South East will not accept another Yoruba president at this time. If Buhari imposes Osibanjo as APC's presidential candidate, Tinubu and his formidable political machinery would frustrate him and APC at the general elections. I don't even see the middle belt supporting Osibanjo.

To me Buhari's best bet is Amaechi. It's still difficult, but I am sure Tinubu would rather support Amaechi than Osibanjo. Amaechi had built a political bridge with the north in his years as governor and as transport minister.

He is the most sellable aspirant in apc

Exactly � the point. No cabal survives an administration. Members are not usually loyal to each other, the person at the top (like Buhari) is their rallying point, like a magnet, remove him and the cabal will be smashed into smithereens. IBB, Abacha, Obasanjo, Yar'dua, Jonathan once had their cabals. Where are they? Buhari s cabal can never be an exception

The Nigerian press overrate this so-called cabal.

Buhari or the cabal selected candidates for the 5 most important positions in APC viz, Chairman, Secretary, Organising Secretary, national vice chairman and deputy national chairman (north-west).

Fayemi called their bluff and said even the president will have to campaign for his candidates.

It took the magnanimity of APC governors to concede only the Chairman position to Buhari's candidate. The cabal lost the other positions including deputy national chairman for the north-west which is the base of Buhari.
