This was a fast paced action movie, loved this one, jake Gyllenhaal had too much fun with this. Entertaining movie overall, don't take it too serious, a little bit of movie cliche here and there, nothing we haven't seen before.

I like Depp, but he shouldn't be portrayed as a hero. I'm not sure if anyone was listening to yesterday's trial, but Depp was continuously high or intoxicated, pledging to become clean after each fuckup, only to return to doing the same thing days later. It's great that he's apparently sober now, but he wasn't always a good guy.

Robert Pattinson Batman is the worst, too dramatic ND the story was okay but too long, everything in the movie is too slow ND makes u feel depressed while watching it for 3hrs
I didn't feel the romance between Cat ND Bat

Your take does not offend anyone. You were very reasonable in your ratings, especially by indicating what influenced your choice. Unlike some folks who didn't even know why they were given certain ratings other than that it did not seat well with them.

I would not agree to the idea that Robert Pattinson is the worst. He may not fit into the kind of batman you want but he gave a great performance representative of the kind of storyline the script writer portrayed. Even Ben Affleck can be said to be boring. Each batman film dwells more on certain aspects of the Batman character at the expense of others. The demeanor of Pattinson fits well with the particular profile projected here. I would choose Christian Bale over Affleck.

Bro... I don't even know what to believe anymore. I was on a thread on twitter yesterday that was so damning to both parties with actual evidence of Depp's abuse and with Amber's also.

I think it's fair to say, based on what we've learned so far, both parties were equally toxic in that relationship. They were both abusive.

Amber Heard should get the same cancel culture that Johnny Depp got,at least non of Depp's ex has come out to complain about him unless I missed it, cannot say the same for Amber.

Exactly...the abuse was on both side and they were never right for each other literally "fire and gasoline".

The funny thing is that these evidence supporting the abuse on both side has existed for years but guess who's career was ruined?

I reckon Depp will emerge from this trial smelling like a rose. If this trial has given him anything, it's good publicity and sympathy. If he wins the trial and keeps his nose clean, his stalled career will revive with a vengeance.

Amber's career, on the other hand, is looking bleak.

All The Old Knives (2022). 7/10.


When I first learnt of this movie, I was skeptical at first having seen The Contractor starring the same Chris Pine few weeks before its release, which was a monumental disappointment. Didn't want to download it especially when 2 posters which I don't trust their ratings had already trashed it, but I decided to see it for myself and I'm glad I did.

Chris Pine reedemed himself in my eyes after that garbage called The Contractor. It was a well-written script except for one or two plot holes. The pacing was on point as well as the acting. Seeing Thandiwe Newton stark nakëd was a bit shocking as well but at her age, she's not looking bad at all. Nice movie with a lovely twist.

even walking in the movie was slow af...
Even turning of head was slow af...
The movie could have been 2 and half hours or even 2 hours...

Anyway I still enjoyed it...but definitely not rewatchable

Depp has had issues with Opiates for as long as we've known him... Being am addict doesn't make him an abuser...
Depp has had previous relationships and his exes have stated repeatedly that he never abused them....

I followed the initial libel suit against the Sun(he lost), and the situations were more like, Heard would start arguments that could degenerate to physical fights, Depp would try to get away from the scene with his drugs being his preferred solace mechanism most times...
Depp high on drugs would say hurtful things to her most times and this is somehow being framed as him being equally toxic....Real headscratcher....

Would one incident of Depp kicking her on a plane make him an abuser?
Moreover, they texts were made in reference to his behavior, as Heard was the one that alleged he kicked her on the flight and later passed out....
A friend who was on the flight together with them said he couldn't recall Depp kicking Heard when he was crossed on the stand...
Make of that what you will...
