Ibime:Mbuyamba is far from ready for first team game time for a serious team. Ampadu should however return as cover for both DM and CB, he's played a lot in the DM position for Venezia but has played at CB and does play CB for Wales. Him, Maatsen as LB cover and Colwill should see game time with the 5 subs and cups. We need at least two CBs. Kounde (because he can play RB as cover for James) and another one, maybe Pau Torres, Gleison Bremer or Bastoni. We also need a good playmaker or goalscoring winger, but the matter of utmost importance is a DM. J5 and Kante will be 32 at the end of next season, and both are in decline. Kova is not a DM, and getting a good DM would enable us to transition away from 343 so as to maximize the talent we do have. |

raumdeuter:Exactly, that’s why I laugh when some people claim Gerrard was better than Lampard. Lampard was the better player; technicality, precision play, direct play and positioning. |

andrewbaba44:On the field, barca played high line football then so Bousquet joined Xavi in possessing the ball, without the ball Mascherano act as the DM, mostly when they are caught on counter attack. Pique mostly helped to start the possession from back. Pique, Bousquet and Valdez were system player, ability wise, not that they were actually the best in their primary duty(I.e, Saves/goalkeeper, defending/defender and intercepting/defensive midfielder). All these were pep’s tactical set up. |

Spurs really chose the worst time to lose form From the highest scoring PL side to no shots on target in two games. |

Ibime:I really thought Mbuyamba would be the one getting the hype Colwill is getting now. Maybe one season in the championship would do him favours; our youth team seem to have lost their way recently. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by hensben(m): 7:28pm On Apr 23, 2022 |
Taguchi:Mascherano was the tough tackler of the team without the ball, mostly when they are caught up with counter attack. If you understand tactical set up and have played football before you will be able to get what I am saying. Individually, they will not be rated in another team like the way chelsea fan don’t rate Jorginho. |

Chelsea have long term interest in Christopher Nkunku & have watched him for the past couple seasons & again recently. Nkunku has 48 G/A this season, averaging a G/A every 74 mins. - @Football_LDN |
