Assist? Assist is just like your normal pass i mean ordinary pass that is just there without it producing a goal.......a provider need the goal scorer to thank for turning a pass into an assist.

And Yes Goals can be scored without an assist,but there is no assist without a goal,a pass is a pass until it manufacture a goal.

if you want to make this kind of analysis never forget the fact that ronaldo started his career in epl and ending it in epl and playing in SeriaA in between!! messi seventeen years in spain won 7 balon d or, ronaldo won 4 balon d or in nine years in spain..now imagine cr7 starting his career in spain? imagine cr7 spending his peak years in spain through out? No player will be able to match his records not even your messi will be compared to him!!

And I don't think I have to remind you that the last time your goat won the UCL was 7years ago before the exit of xavi and iniesta..and funny enough he hasn't appeared in any UCL final since then.. same can't be said to my own goat!!
