Easter is Christianity's most important holiday, which symbolises the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Orthodox world marks Easter this year a week later than the Catholic and Protestant Churches.

President Vladimir Putin on Sunday attended an Easter mass conducted by the Russian Orthodox Church, which has strongly backed the Kremlin leader’s “special military operation” in Ukraine
