I am not angry that our government got loans from World Bank and China, my anger is that I am finding it very difficult to notice or see what the loans were used for. I pray that an opposition party wins 2023 presidential election in order to have the guts needed to expose and unearth the mess APC has done to this once a great country.

Why is it dt no one is asking how much Nigeria gets from crude oil sale daily multiplied by 365days a year?
What of money from taxes and rates,tarrifs on on calls etc daily?
Why then are we borrowing?
Can't Nigeria govt leverage on technology to generate more than enough revenue for d country?
With bvn alone, annual normal tax per citizen can be deducted resulting in trillions? It can equally be done through gsm lines.
Nigerian govt shld pls engage young guys with digital skill tech to help digitalise and automate revenue generation for govt.and stop borrowing .

There is no sin in borrowing..

And the good thing is dat we are paying back little by little..

Tax collection is pretty digital these days...
The only obvious way to increase tax revenue today is to increase tax rate...
And you should know dat a vast majority of the tax especially VAR goes to states and LGA..

In terms of oil revenue...no one knows the actual figure..but our 2022 budget is 17 trillion...and there is a debt deficit of 6 trillion...
Which means the FG can conveniently generate 11 trillion
..You should know that dat would have been way higher inshort by an extra 3 trillion if we didn't have to subsidize fuel...

Meaning
. assuming we don't subsidize fuel
.out of 17 trillion.we can generate atleast 14 trillion and borrow only 3..

Mind u ..most country in the world do not fulfill their entire budget from their revenue alone
