Why would Northerners step aside when South West is still in the race. Obasanjo 8 years Osinbajo 8 years And South West is contesting for another 8 years, and you expect Northerners not to contests. If you want Northerners to step aside, South West should step down first, or the North must contest. According to Atiku Abubakar; Atiku abubakaar has decided to step down if only South West candidates will step down. According to Atiku, only Igbo merit 2023 presidential ticket. He insisted that he must contest as long as Tinubu and Osinbajo are still in the race. Atiku said all these to newsmen, he made it clear that South West has nothing to do with the presidency, they have had their 8 years term, and Osinbajo is currently the vice president of Nigeria. Yoruba, if you know what is good do it |

limeta:if the south come together and want anything, they'd get it too. what do you mean by nothing can be done? useless 'sophistication' is what is hindering the south, and by extension that country. in fact, if the south decide to keep rotating the presidency among them forever, they can. the worst that can happen is the north will push for a break up of the country, which they can get without any resistance from the south anyways. |

Well to be fair, the zoning thing was always an intra-party gentleman’s agreement that was disrupted both when Yaradua died and when Jonathan lost his re-election campaign before either the north or south could complete a full 8 year tenure. It was started by the PDP when they were in power and thought they would never lose it. It’s quite unrealistic to now expect both major parties to mutually agree to nominate someone from either region especially when one party’s last president was a southerner and The others last (current) president is a northerner. We should focus more on competence this time around regardless of region or ethnicity. Nigeria’s current problems are too grave to have time for that now. |

Every day by day I am thrilled by the actions of northerners and some afonja miscreants and the marathon advocates because every single step they take is bringing this entity to an end because truth be told if a northerner or westerner become president.. competent or not then this nation will encounter more challenges than ever before |

The north thinks power is their birthright, they have forgotten that they suffer the most in everything, that is the irony if life. Even when the Igbis were handicapped and backward, it took the Nigerian army 3years to subdue them but see what the Biafran army did to your northern troops... How about now? If north doesn't understand that things have changed, they will soon dance the dance of the spirit. Take a look.... Ndimkpurummiri:

They banking on their almajiri population to always win. Maybe the South need to borrow brain and find a way to nullify the northern threat. |

Google the battle of Abagana .....that happened in Abagana Anambra State. The Nigerian troops were totally annihilated, if not sabotage on Ojukwu's rank, Biafra would have defeated the senseless Northern troops that can never be good soldiers. So let the north never underestimate the South, especially the Igbo's if they mean business. quote author=Ndimkpurummiri post=112371369]Fat lie The same north that is already in lockdown for Peter Peter Obi? The ticket must be given to Peter Obi or we go our separate way[/quote] |
