The EU is flooded with discounted LNG left and right, even from China, the so called Putin's friend.

It’s obvious you can’t assimilate properly, they didn’t say the EU doesn’t buy gas from other countries such as China and the US but half of it’s gas import comes from Russia whom they can’t cut off cause it’s way cheaper and it’s right at their backyard

1. The EU is flooded with cheap and discounted LNG that they don't even have enough storage facilities to store the LNG so where is the sense and wisdom in buying expensive Russian gas?

2. Gas suppliers all over the world including the Chinese government are flooding the EU with cheap gas just to take away the EU's gas market from Russia which they are doing perfectly, ost European countries and buyers are not renewing gas contracts with Russia.

3. So, with cheap and discounted gas flooding the EU and EU countries not renewing oil and gas contracts with Russia, are they still importing half of their gas consumption from Russia?

Russia's largest state-run oil producer, Rosneft PJSC, failed to sell 37 million barrels of its flagship Urals crude, traders told Reuters, as European traders continue to look elsewhere for energy products amid war in Ukraine.

Rosneft PJSC had opened up the oil for bids to unload from ports in May and June, but no European customers were willing to participate.

According to the report, some Asian refiners placed bids on the oil, but the state-run refinery did not accept them. Other Asia-based buyers had complained that Roseneft's requirement of 100% prepayment was too stringent.

Since European nations have self-sanctioned or otherwise scaled back from buying Russian crude, producers have faced an increasingly difficult challenge of finding a market.

The ratio of outgoing Urals seaborne exports going to Europe has dropped from 90% to 50%, Bloomberg reported.

Just imagine, the EU dropped their crude import from 90% to 50%, they are ahead of target to completely drop Russian crude to zero by the end of the year.
