There are a lot of underground deals that go on in government aided by independent contractors that facilitate those deals.

The blow out from the US arresting the major opposition candidate few days to the election is one major point that would easily get you a deal.

Also, promising the US government that you will be 100% committed to the dictates of Washington can also help your case.

The same way criminals cut deals with the FBI and CIA is the same way any other person they see as being VALUABLE can cut deals with the government. Wake up!
