Ambode was also a product of imposition or 'Baba sope' ,the system that brought him up also kicked him out. He was never a card carrying member of the party before he was imposed on other well-established politicians. Akinwumni Ambode was not just imposed but SUPER-IMPOSED by Asiwaju Tinubu high and above other better qualified candidates and he rejoiced at godfather's favour then. Ambode could have caused a bit of shake up had he decamped to another party in 2019 and tested his popularity, even if he had lost, he would have made a mark and passed a strong message, under APC in Lagos he can’t win anything as it stands.
