None of Wike or Obi will win PDP’s ticket , if they do PDP will lose scandalously at the main election.

Wike doesn't want to be President. Gov. Udom doesn't want to be too. It's all a ploy to pressure the PDP to zone it to the South. And Wike pressured Udom to contest - they have been allies since 2016.

Obi's only 'flaw' in the North is where he hails from. If he were Igbo from the South South, he'd garner enough support in the North.

But Peter Obi is still the best candidate the PDP has contesting.
Of all the others, he's still the only technocrat who excelled tremendously in a previous elected position given the available finances, and he's the only one who has it on his record to have reversed the economic woes of his domain or at least bettered it.

Building bridges, stadia, and other infrastructure would not improve the economy, and that's what Nigeria needs - an economic turn around. That's where Peter Obi comes in.

if he (Peter Obi) gets the ticket, the only reason he wouldn't win is the voter apathy, in the South East especially.

In 2015, Akwa Ibom gave Goodluck Jonathan 953,000 votes and Anambra gave Goodluck a paltry 650,000 votes (I took time to paste the 2015 election results here https://www.reuters.com/article/nigeria-election-results-idINL6N0WW4UM20150331 ), yet Anambra is slightly more populated than Akwa Ibom ( here I am adding the population of Nigeria by states https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nigerian_states_by_population ).

The voter apathy is even worse in Ebonyi and Abia States. Throughout the South, actually.

Buhari won Goodluck by only 3 million votes. Compare the casted votes in the South East to the number of registered voters, and you'd realize how paltry it is.

Instead of listening to the intimidation by the North, if you properly analyse election results, you'd know the South's main problem is voter apathy. The Middle Belt vote our way, and they have the population too.

If it's not Peter Obi, Osinbajo or Fayemi, we are just voting for the lesser evil.
But for economic transformation (which is really Nigerian's main concern) if it's not Peter Obi, we are just shortchanging ourselves.

My brother delegate na round tripping. By the time you collect like $3k on average from each candidate, you should walk away with $30k from a convention. Not to mention monies candidate may have given to the Governor to settle his delegates in advance.

Messi gats find him scoring boots before Qatar. Missing the type of chances he would normally bury with one eye closed.

Neymar's own problem is that he hugs the ball too much. Like, oga, you have already dribbled this guy, just pass the ball and stop inviting more challenges. You would think someone with his injury history would have more sense.

The voter apathy in the SE (and other parts of the south) was largely the result of the deliberate disenfranchisement of voters in those zones.

I recall that a good number of voters in the south had issues receiving their PVCs from their local INEC HQs, while voters in the north were allowed to collect theirs from their local mosques and traditional rulers’ palaces. Moreover, on Election Day, 95% of incidences of faulty cars-readers occurred in the south, which angered a good chunk of voters and caused them to abruptly leave the polling units.

Yes, in general, the political participation among regular citizens in the SE and SS is lagging behind their compatriots in the north. But we can’t jettison the effect of INEC’s (deliberate?) disenfranchisement of voters in the south on especially the 2015 presidential election.

That's the thing - the South would always hinge such self-induced shortcomings on excuses which are immaterial on election days. We'd always play the victim game instead of being proactive.

Last month, INEC made two weighty proclamations:

1. There are about 1.8 million new PVCs to be collected. https://businessday.ng/politics/article/inec-unveils-1-854m-new-pvcs-voters-begin-collection-tuesday/

2. Over 45 ℅ of PVC registrations are invalid.

3. Hundreds of thousands of uncollected PVCs from previous registrations waiting to be picked. https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2022/03/24/651551-uncollected-pvcs-still-with-inec-says-rec/

The North is collecting and registering en masse, the South are on Twitter trending hashtags.
The South East doesn't care about such issues.

9 months to the Presidential Elections.
