The fight against emotion is a continuous battle. In my 10+ years of trading the financial markets, i've learned that just as losses are inevitable, so also are emotions. STOP LOSS however is key.

Many techniques i've crafted had expiry dates, as recanted by one of our own.

This was fashioned from repetitive patterns backtested for 11yrs. i noticed that the % accuracy increased with time. perhaps it'll recline with time as well.

but for now, i'll do the most with it.

25% of the risk. Not equity or account balance.

As in the diagram, the starting $10 should be the risk (max) from a $500 account.

25% of $10 is $2.5. If this is achieved, $12.5 is risked to aim for 25% profit, etc.

Of course, not literally every day! More realistically, instead of per day, it should be per trade.

Averagely in a week, 3 good entries with 25% target profit on the risk amount is achievable, but with dedication and focus, proper top-down analysis, price action knowledge and risk management.

Otherwise, the reasonable way to grow such small account with lesser risk would be to swing trade.

let me share you guys some business secret, Imagine APPLE worth 3trillion ( Your trading capital ) .. APPLE make $365B per year .. Now run the calculation.. how many percent is $365B to 3trillion ?? that is what apple make per year . that's why she's still standing tall.

reduce your expectation and you will prosper in a long run. and above all, Have the right skill and the right mindset

Just keep your expectations close reality as much as possible.

Let's take FTMO challenge as an example.. The firm gave you 30 days to pass a challenge. and you by your own self gave yourself 3-5 days to pass the challenge.. so those that gave you 30 days , You think they are foolish?? you think you know more than them ?? You think they don't know why they gave 30 days ..??
That's why it's easy to pass first challenge and fail in the second or pass both challenge then fail when you get a live account because you already made the job hard for yourself by yourself ..

Well, there's nothing impossible.

I've flipped $50 to $5000 in a week. But i tried that more than 20 times before one worked. if i had $4000 equity, making $1000 profit with good risk management wouldn't be a biggie, yes?

There's a slight chance they'd succeed. however, we wish them well
