The SW and SE are jokers if they think they can secure and retain the presidency.

Obasanjo and Goodluck are the only southerners to attain and retain the presidency.

Obasanjo, you may argue is from the SW , but his emergence and ability to wade off a coup and impeachment from the north was because of his strong ties to northern elites and the military .

As for GEJ, he was immune from extra constitutional means to remove him from office over the threat of a full blown uprising in the Niger Delta .

I don't see how any of the current SW and SE candidates could retain power for a single term without being impeached or overthrown by the military as they have no bargaining power against the north.

If a SW candidate emerges, I expect the Okoro Judases to team up with the north to impeach him.

If a SE president emerges, the Yaribanzas will also do same and team up with the north to have him impeached.

Only a Niger Deltan candidate (not Emefile) can ride the storm of impeachment or a coup threat just as GEJ did.

If , by slim probability, a southern candidate from either the SW or SE emerges, I don't see them finishing their terns. The Yamri and Yaribabza senseless feud will see to an impeachment .

Your just one sided. And that's why Nigeria will remain the way it is.
Everybody wants to be president, every body, I too know.

That's why Nigeria is backwards, those that are qualified are not giving the chance rather it's fixing of my own person. "Na my person put him, qualified or not qualified put him"

This 2023 upcoming election should be an eye opener, this show's that everybody wants to lead, no one wants to follow and learn.

Over qualified is the problem.
