What do you do with your sketches, do you sell them?

I create sketches for fashion brands. Ready to wear lines, couture. I also teach individuals and fashion schools.
Am a 3D virtual fashion designer too.

Kk I actually have a couple of sketch (like 3 books) although just basic bodice drawing haven't entered that level of virtual designs.
I have been trying to see if there's a brand I can sell some to or something. I would have love to have a clothing line for ready to wear to sha. Although I sew but don't have all the time for it cos of work.

That's nice. Since you don't have a lot of time sewing,
there's a whole lot of opportunity illustration. I get fashion clients from instagram, so you can also make some money showing those drawings you have....someone might connect with you and buy them.

Open an Instagram account, post your designs at least 2 a week. Clients will find you.

Ohh kk... What about plagiarism and copyright issues for designs?
Then how do I change my designs from its primitive state to something more beautiful and attractive for instagram like yours.

Please can I have your (WhatsApp) number and Instagram handle.

This is beautiful. There won't be copyright issues or plagiarism if your designs are unique. If you have to sketch someone else's design you state it there, tag them also just like I did with my last post, stated a met gala style recreation.
Aside this, all your designs and designs in your portfolio must be unique.


To change your designs from primitive state. First all designs starts from the basic block, then you develop it into various designs considering body shape, is it wearable, colour and fabric manipulation. You will have to upgrade your skills too, watch YouTube videos and practice or pay to learn.
